The First Six Chapters. with Intro

Just realized that this history might be a little longer than anticipated. So, now it's the History of the World by Train in several parts.

Chapter I. It was said that Horus was the first to board the train. He said goodbye to his mother at the station, annoyed by her affection.

Ch. 2 The desert heat shimmered near the Nile while the winds blew sand over everywhere. The population had not yet exploded.

Ch. 3 "Are you sure you want to go north?"asked Ammon."The Aapep gang is after me,"replied Horus,"I might as well go.There's no more room."

Ch 4 Ammon watched the train in the distance as it traveled north. He wondered at the sound, so strange and unlike any other.

Ch 5 What with the floods that spring and the ongoing wars for space along the Nile, Ammon's story ended.

Ch 6 Horus arrived in Greece and drew for the architects the columns of Egypt. He invited them to visit and see for themselves.

About the first novel.

Previously to this post is the first of many novels I began writing under the name of KitSeason on Twitter.  It is likely I will write more novels briefly and if so, I will update the description here. I believe my next novel will be a history of the world told by participants riding on trains.

Oh, Canada?

And now, in order to bring it altogether in one place and make up some better titles, is the novel in its entirety. Except for this brief introduction I have removed all author comments. If author comments interest you, then please read my previous posts.:

Dinner
Chapter XI.
After Darla left, Marta cleared away her pseudopsychic props before setting the table for dinner. "Joey, Maggie, dinner!"

Interlude a. Joey and Maggie aren't characters in this story. They are extraneous entities meant to aid in our understanding of Marta.

Artifice
Chapter XII.
Raul couldn't find anybody. Renna was at the Pride parade, because though straight, she liked artifice. Raul hated crowds.

Tattoos and Piercings
Chapter XIII.
Renna made Darla feel uncomfortable. It wasn't that Renna was gay. It was the tattoos and piercings, Darla was sure of it.

If Renna had a fault it was that she didn't care enough. She wanted to care, but didn't want to enough to change her life.
